Our friends, Patrick and Sharyce sent us our first package. They found out what needs to be done in order to ship it to the house, so I thought I would pass along the info:
Mailing Flat rate boxes in size med or large:
You need Coustoms form PS 2976-A- the big one from the postmaster. It only has 4 lines for items on it (you have to declare what you are shipping)
It Costs: (from Houston)
Med flat rate box-$47.95
Large flat rate box-$60.95
It will take 6-10 days to get there and then it is subjected to coustoms.
We have no idea if this is the cheepest way, just the way they sent it (flat rate boxes are free from the post office). I think it would be worth the time checking into DHL or UPS as well. The company uses DHL to ship our mail from the PO Bos, so I know they ship to China!
